Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Rauscher studied mathematics, genetics and law in Munich. He wrote and successfully finished his doctorate thesis in the field of European Civil Litigation Law (i.e. “JD”) in 1982. In 1989, Prof. Dr. Dr. h.c. Rauscher advanced to the position of a Professor of Law with his widely known volume on German reforms in succession and inheritance law. After visiting Scholarships with the universities of Hamburg, Frankfurt/Main and Marburg, Prof. Rauscher holds since 1993 a full and standing Scholarship as Professor of law with the university of Leipzig.
